NSPCC
This week we had the first of our two Speak out, Stay Safe assemblies delivered by NSPCC to KS2 and KS3. The boys listened to messages delivered in a fun, interactive way with the help of our mascot Buddy as well as special guest appearances from Ant and Dec. The assembly covered topics like bullying and abuse – without using any scary words or adult language and covered different types of abuse in a child-friendly and age-appropriate way, so they can get help if or when they need it.
The assembly helped identify a trusted adult they can talk to if they’re ever worried about themselves or a friend and how Childline can support them.
KS1 will have their age-appropriate assembly next week.
