After a very busy day at school, we feel that the youngest pupils should head home at the end of the day and have time to unwind and relax. In the middle years, the extra-curricular programme kicks in with activities that vary from term to term, but typically include things like chess, football and arts and crafts. In the senior years, this provision is extended, and we may often go off site to broaden the range for example, a cross country club taking advantage of suitable local amenities.

Educational visits are integral to our curriculum, with several residential trips beginning from Year 5 onward. We place significant importance on these overnight stays, as they offer children the opportunity to develop essential social and emotional skills, as well as create life-long memories.
